Daily Encouragement For February 06:

I have received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, I have been redeemed, You set me free and saved me from a punishable death when You gave Your life for me. I will be faithful, reliable, capable and dependable!

Now, the best I know how I want to be a soldier for You. If my God needs me, I will be there! If He needs me in Sunday School to teach, to work with the youth, help adults or just sit and learn, I will be there.

Jesus, You are my Captain, the Holy Bible is my code of conduct! Faith and prayer are my shield, the Word of God is my sword in the warfare. I am being instructed by the Holy Spirit, I am receiving my training by experience, I am being tried by the adversity and tested by the fire!

Jesus volunteered me to be in His army and I am enlisted for eternity, I will either retire during the rapture or when He takes me from the battlefield, but I will not walk out, sell out, be talked out, or pushed out!

I am a soldier for Christ! No one has to call me, remind me, write me, visit me, entice me or lure me! I am a soldier! I will praise my King and follow my Captain's orders.

I am committed! I cannot allow my feelings, discouragement, or failure to get the best of me, I must fight until the battle is won.

Before Jesus saved my life, I had nothing, I was dead, lifeless, and headed straight for hell, but now I have the victory!

I will win the fight! My God shall supply all my needs! I am more than a conqueror, I am His child! I will always triumph! I know I can win because I know I can do all things through Christ, He in my Captain, He gives me the strength to march on and pushes me to keep going forward to the victory.

Satan cannot defeat me! People cannot discourage me! My body cannot make me weary! Sickness cannot stop me! Battles cannot beat me! Money cannot buy me, and HELL CANNOT HANDLE ME! I am a soldier! A soldier for Christ!

Even death cannot destroy me! For when my Captain takes me from the battlefield, He will reward me with eternity. I am a soldier, for Christ, I am in this army, I'm marching on to claim the victory! I will not give up! I will not turn around! For I am heaven bound!

Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” -2 Timothy 2:1-4.
