Daily Encouragement For February 05:

A man had some puppies that he needed to find homes for, he painted a sign advertising, “Puppies For Sale” went down to the end of the road, and began nailing it to a post on the edge of his fence.
As he was driving the last nail into the post, he felt a tug on his trousers. He looked down into the eyes of a little boy. "Mister," he said, "I want to buy one of your puppies."

"Well," the man answered, as he rubbed the sweat off the back of his neck, "These puppies come from fine parents and cost a good deal of money." The boy dropped his head for a moment. Then reaching deep into his pocket, he pulled out a handful of change and held it up to the man. "I've got thirty-nine cents. Is that enough to just take a look?"

"Sure," the man replied. And with that he let out a whistle, "Here, Dolly, Here Girl!" he called. Out from the doghouse and down the ramp ran Dolly followed by four little balls of fur. The little boy pressed his face against the chain link fence. His eyes danced with delight.

As the dogs made their way to the fence, the little boy noticed something else stirring inside the doghouse. Slowly another little ball appeared, this one was noticeably smaller. Down the ramp it slid. Then in a somewhat awkward manner the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing it's best to catch up... "I want that one," the little boy said, pointing to the pup.

The man knelt down at the boy's side and said, "Son, you don't want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these others would."

With that said the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers, in doing so he revealed a plastic leg. Looking back up at the man, he said, "You see sir, I don't run too well myself and I kind of hobble when I walk, I think he will need someone who understands."

With a tear in his eye, the man gave the pup to the little boy and watched them as the little boy carried his pup home.

You know, you may not be made perfect in your eyes, but in God's eyes you are perfect, after all He is the one who created you. Every freckle, every wrinkle, every scar, and every hair on your head is numbered. God knows what you are going through, He made you that way for a special purpose. Never let anyone tell you that God does not care about you or love you, He loves you with all His heart and thinks of you often.

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent...I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.” -John 17:1-3,9.
