I'm
Following Jesus is a not-for-profit Gospel missions inspired by the
following Scripture, "And

the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo,

We are going into all nations, via the
internet, teaching the Gospel of Christ, instructed by none other
than my Lord Jesus Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit. I'm
Following Jesus is provided to reach and teach the Gospel of Christ
to the lost all over the world and I am excited to report that with
God's guidance and the internet thousands of lives have been saved
since July 2006. All the glory goes to God for He truly is the only
one keeping this site up and running.
What
is the Gospel?
It
is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
What
We Believe & Teach
1.
The Scriptures
We
believe that the sixty-six books of the Bible are the written Word of
God. The Bible is divinely inspired and free from error throughout,
in that holy men of God were directed by the Holy Spirit to write the
very words of Scripture. "All scripture is
given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the
man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
- II Timothy 3:16,17. I believe that the Authorized Version of the
King James Bible is His Word Preserved and the only True Bible for
the English language.
2. The Trinity
We
believe that there is Only One True and Living God; One God in three
Persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is
infinite, eternal, and unchangeable.
God
the Father: God, as Father,
reigns over all of His universe with providential care and is all
powerful, all loving, all knowing, and all wise.
God
the Son: I believe that the
Lord Jesus Christ, is the eternal Son of God, whom became man without
ceasing to be God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born
of a virgin, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man.
He accomplished this redemption by voluntarily giving Himself as a
sinless, sacrifice on the cross, thereby satisfying God's righteous
judgment against sin. After the accomplishment of that redemption and
justification by His bodily resurrection from the grave, He ascended
to the right hand of His Father, where He intercedes on behalf of
those who trust Him
God the Holy
Spirit (Ghost):
I believe that the Holy Spirit is the Divine Person who
convicts the world of sin; that He alone brings new life to those who
are spiritually dead; that He baptizes (or places) all believers into
the one true Church, which is the Body of Christ; that He indwells
them permanently, seals them unto the day of final redemption,
bestows spiritual gifts upon them, and fills those who are yielding
to Him. Every believer is called to live in the power of the
indwelling Holy Spirit so that he will not fulfill the lust of the
flesh, but will bear fruit to the glory of God.
3.
Creation
We believe that man was created directly by God and
in His image and that He created the heavens and the earth, including
all life, by direct act in six literal twenty-four hour days about
6,000 years ago.
4. Man
We believe that although the
first man, Adam, and the first woman, Eve, was created in the image
of God, their fall into sin is the basis for the necessity of
salvation for mankind. Death, both physical and spiritual entered
into this world subsequent to and as a direct consequence of man's
sin. This is true of all men; and all men are sinners, inherently
from Adam and individually by choice and are therefore subject to
God's wrath and condemnation. Except a man be born again by the Holy
Spirit, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
5. Salvation
We
believe that salvation is the gift of God's grace alone and is
expressed in the individual's repentance, recognition of Christ's
death as full payment for sin, and acceptance of the risen Christ as
as Savior. Salvation cannot be gained or made more secure by
meritorious works, but is freely bestowed upon all who put their
faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary. All who so
trust the Savior are forgiven of their sins and born into the family
of God by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. Freedom from the
penalty and power of sin is available to man only through Christ's
sacrificial death, His shed blood, and His complete and bodily
resurrection from the dead. Those who do not believe in Christ are
subject to everlasting punishment. Believers enjoy eternal life with
God.
6. The Devil – Satan
We believe that Satan is
a person, the author of sin, a liar and the father of lies, and the
reason for the fall of man, and is destined to the judgment of an
eternal punishment in the lake of fire. He is the personal spiritual
adversary of both God and man.
7. Atonement For Sin
We
believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the
Scriptures as a substitutionary sacrifice and that all who believe on
Him are redeemed by His shed blood. I believe in the resurrection of
the crucified body of our Lord Jesus Christ and in His ascension into
heaven; He is our High Priest and Advocate.
8. Eternal
Security
We believe that Christ keeps those who are truly born
again, once one accepts Him into his/her life, he/she receives
eternal life.
9. The Christian Walk
We believe that
we have a holy calling to walk not after the flesh, but after the
Spirit, and so to live in the power of the indwelling Spirit in order
that we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. The flesh is never
eradicated in this life. Individuals must choose to keep the flesh in
subjection to Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, or
the flesh will surely manifest its presence in life and dishonor our
Lord.
How This Website is Inspired
by God
This website
is truly inspired by God. The Holy Spirit has been directing me with
everything contained here from the start. Here is why
1.
The Name
Here I am on a
Thursday morning, June 5, 2009 5:30am, praying to God to give me
direction on how He wanted me to serve Him using the internet. I
already had a website promoting Christianity, but thought something
was not quite right. Then all of a sudden this name pops in my head,
Ready to Follow Jesus. The name sounded catchy and too good to be
true and I actually thought, "No way?", but I did not
disregard it and when I got up I checked to see if the domain,
readytofollow.com was available. First thing I thought Praise God, He
gave me a name! Now, I must use it for His glory. Then a year later,
imfollowingjesus.com was born, today, thesaviorjesuschrist.com is
added to further our mission to reach the lost with the Gospel.
2.
The Finances
I am a self
employed website designer who has been hit very hard by the economy,
I can go weeks without getting work. God provides all the finances
needed to keep this site going as well as all the sites ran through
I'm Following Jesus.
3. Instant Access
I
usually takes about 48 hours for a website to be published and in the
system, this site had instant access the second it got published.
4.Quick Search
I
registered the domain name with Google the next day, usually a
website takes about 3 weeks for it to get picked up by the search
engines. Within two days it could be found on the Google search,
within two weeks it was listed at number 44 in the search. Within a
month it was listed on the first page.
The amazing and
wonderful power of God! Without Him, I'm Following Jesus would not
exist. I believe that God will use this site and all the sites
created in a great way to help not only get many of the lost found,
but to also provide wonderful encouragement and inspiration to keep
all Following Jesus. Praise God!

2004, I received certificates in Spiritual Awareness (Christ based),
and completed courses in Relaxation Therapy, Aromatherapy, and
Wholistic Nutrition, but something was missing, I wasn't getting any
healthier nor was I less stressed or happier. I was saved when I was
a little girl, but the call to serve the Lord came in 2006 when I was
really at my worst, God showed me the correct path that I needed to
walk and in 2006 I found a new church, the one I am currently at now,
got baptized, and began serving God.
In 2006, I began witnessing to people online and through daily Bible studies, I have had over 500 people accept Christ through my websites or blogs. Today, I continue to write the daily Bible studies, which enable me to study God's Word, teach it to others, and get people saved as Jesus commanded all believers to do so.
In
2007, I began taking online classes at Ames Bible College to get my
degree in Christian Psychology in order to minister to others, not be
a minister, but to minister (teach) and comfort those in need.
As
of 2008, I am a Sunday school teacher and devote as much time as I
can to God and the church.
I am also an Independent Website
Designer and Computer Tech, however my work does not take me away
from what God has really intended for me to do, missions.
I
am devoted to serving God, reaching as many lost souls as I can, and
teaching God's Truths. I know that as long as I put God first I do
not have to worry about my needs because He always provides me with
them. Praise God!
